The Ghost of Diamond Road

I took this picture of the apartments being built near my house. I seem to have unwittingly photographed a ghost.

Theres no denying that the half built building has a sort of weird energy. Passers by have noticed a strange cold feeling as they walk past, and a feeling of being watched. But this photo is more than a vague feeling... is it evidence of a haunting? And if so can a ghost just move in? The flats aren't even finished yet.

See below for close ups of the photo. What do you think? Is it a trick of the light? Have you noticed anything strange around Diamond Road? Any weird noises or sudden temperature drops? If so please write in. I'm especially keen to hear any reports about the Ghost of Diamond Road.

Lunatic Hound of Duncan Down

It has recently been reported that a lunatic dog has been biting trees in the Duncan Down area of Whitstable. So far more than 20 trees have been gnawed by its evil fangs.

Is this a new beast prowling around the town? Or is it new evidence of the giant fox? Panther? or even the mysterious and terrible black dog?

As the summer approaches, can the town handle more strange beasts?

Two Headed Cat

I saw this startling mutation at the end of the summer on the way to a meeting.

I glanced left, then right to cross St Peter's Road, and there, in the distance, on a window ledge was a cat. A black cat. A two headed black cat. Unfortunately, it was a rare occasion when I was out without the family camera, and so I was unable to record the sighting... but, just for you I took a moment this dark evening to put my memory to paper and bring you a sketch of the two headed cat of Whitstable.

Is there too much wifi in these dark streets causing genetic defects? Too many TV antennas? Is there Crabzilla crab meat in the Kitekat? Was I seeing things? Or was it simply the moggie's refection in the window?

If anyone else has seen this "cat", or if you're the owner, please get in touch. I'd love to know some details. Such as, does one head do the breathing, and the other head the eating? And does it have two separate pussycat personalities?

I imagine that this time last week Crabzilla was bobbing gently in Whitstable Bay, quiet and calm, safe in the anonymous ocean, nibbling on a few trailers of oysters....

Then, the unthinkable happened... crab fame happened! Crabzilla was propelled around the world like a stone across a pond.

From page 26 of The Sunday Express, to the cover of the Daily Star.... to Loose Women on telly, Metro, Kent Messenger, Mail Online, Gawker, Independent, news websites in Australia, Germany, Serbia, Norway, New York, Huffington Post, India, Brazil, Sweden, allsorts of places all over the world too numerous to mention....then to Japan's Morning Bird show on AsahiTV, and last night to BBC's Have I got News For You!

Its even spawned a (fake) Crabzilla on Twitter!

A weird week indeed.... I hope for Crabzilla's sake its all gone quiet again. Keep your eyes peeled for signs of the beautiful Crabzilla. If you happen to see any evidence, or have a story to tell then please get in touch. I may post it on here, or it could be featured in an upcoming exhibition.
