Smoke columns!

Last week two columns of smoke were seen rising from the mysterious Isle of Sheppey. Does this have anything to do with the 3 o'clock rumble that can sometimes be heard booming through the sky?

    No. The booms are from the army artilery range on Shoeburyness.
